terme is a new concept in skin care: a clinic specifically designed for today's man using the finest natural treatments created in Europe. terme opened its doors in July 2003, being the first clinic in Canada just for men. terme immediately caught the attention of the media, in July of the same year, terme was featured on City TV News, and in August the Toronto star and metro newspaper did a write up. Now there is a growing trend and most spas see the need to look after this growing market. We still are the leaders. The idea of terme was conceived several years ago, when we discovered that there was no place where a man could go and feel comfortable talking about the services and products to make him look and feel better, or to get advise from specialists on skin care about specific concerns. The modern man wants to look good and feel good and needs a space where he can talk “man to man” about alternatives and learn how to take care of his skin (body and face). Stress is another big concern and a growing problem in our very active daily life, for this reason terme offers a relaxing environment that helps one relax, while having treatments performed, a way of relaxation all skin care treatments provide, as well as specific anti-stress treatments to get rid of harmful stress and toxins. After over 25 years in the skin care business, traveling throughout Europe and learning about the benefits of such, our experts grew, providing the knowledge and confidence to face the 21st century. Skin care has been considered for years as a “female thing”, without considering that men have needs, yet different, that a regular esthetician was not able to provide or men didn't dare/care to walk into a regular salon to get advise and treatments for their particular needs. |
